SUMMIT CHAMPIONS
The Summit Champion designation is the highest organizational recognition awarded by Friends of the Cherokee National Forest. It honors organizations whose exceptional leadership, philanthropic investment, or enduring partnership has made a transformational contribution to our mission and to the future of the Cherokee National Forest.
The Lyndhurst Foundation has been an extraordinary partner in the growth of Friends of the Cherokee National Forest. Through its generous investment in conservation initiatives, the Foundation has helped expand recreation opportunities and advance projects that benefit both the Cherokee National Forest and the communities it serves. The Greene County Partnership has been an indispensable partner since the earliest days of Friends of the Cherokee National Forest. Together, we created the award-winning Firefly Festival and Art Auction, helping inspire community engagement while generating vital support for conservation, recreation, and environmental education.
